Nationality: Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), NRI, and Outside Maharashtra Candidates are eligible for Maharashtra MBBS 2022 admission.
- Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible for Maharashtra MBBS admission 2022 in government, cooperation, government-aided, and private unaided colleges.
- NRI aspirants are eligible for admission to only institutional quota, that is 15% seats in private unaided colleges, in Maharashtra MBBS.
Domicile: To apply for Maharashtra NEET admission 2022 Students should be a domicile of Maharashtra state or stay in the state for a minimum of 10 years.
Age: Aspirants must be 17+ to qualify for eligibility criteria for applying.
Educational qualification: For Maharashtra NEET UG admission students must have completed their Class 12 from a school/institute located in the state. Maharashtra MBBS merit list
On the basis of applications received, NEET scores, fulfillment of eligibility criteria, and document verification, DMER will publish a merit list of candidates eligible for Maharashtra MBBS admission. Candidates will be allotted a state merit rank in the Maharashtra MBBS merit list. Details mentioned in the merit list of Maharashtra MBBS include name, gender, category, marks, region, NRI status, NEET marks, rank, and remarks. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process for Maharashtra MBBS admission.
Maharashtra MBBS counselling
Candidates included in the merit list will be called for Maharashtra MBBS counselling. DMER is responsible for conducting Maharashtra MBBS counselling for 85% of state quota seats and 100% of private colleges seats in the state. While counselling for Maharashtra NEET admission to 15% of All India Quota seats will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Authority will conduct a total of three Maharashtra NEET counselling rounds including a mop-up round.
