Kerala MBBS Admission 2022 – The Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Thiruvananthapuram has started the registration for Kerala NEET admission. Kerala MBBS Eligibility Criteria

  • Aspirants must check the Kerala MBBS eligibility criteria before filling out the KEAM NEET application form 2022. The eligibility criteria for admission to Kerala MBBS are mentioned below-
    • Age limit – Candidates must be at least 17 years of age. Aspirants crossing the upper age limit of NEET i.e. 25 years and above (30 years and above for reserved category candidates) are eligible to take NEET 2022, however, whether they will be eligible for Kerala MBBS admission will be declared by the Supreme Court.
    • Educational Qualification- Aspirants are required to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English by scoring qualifying marks in each of these subjects. Along with this, candidates need to pass Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) in Class 12th with at least 50% (40% for SC/ST category and 45% for SEBC) in aggregate.
    • Nativity – For admission to 85% seats of government colleges and 50% seats of private colleges, candidates need to show that they are Indian citizens of Kerala origin.
    • NEET 2022 Qualification- Only those candidates who will qualify for NEET 2022 with at least 50th percentile (45th percentile for UR-PH candidates and 40th percentile for reserved category candidates) will be eligible for Kerala MBBS admission 2022.

Kerala MBBS Application Form

Candidates seeking admission to Kerala NEET courses have to fill out the application form in online mode. It is to be noted that in order to submit the application form successfully, candidates have to submit the application fee through credit/debit cards, net banking, and E-challan. The authority will start the second phase of the application form after the completion of NEET 2021. In the second phase, candidates will be required to enter their NEET UG scores. After the conclusion of the registration process, the authority will release the Kerala MBBS merit list which will allot state rank to all the candidates on the grounds of their NEET scores.

Based on the choices filled by the candidates, seats will be allotted in various MBBS and BDS colleges. Since the mode of conduct of Kerala MBBS counselling is online, candidates will be required to submit web options for submitting preferences. The result of Kerala MBBS counselling will be released in online mode in the form of a seat allotment list. The list will contain the name of the candidates, the course and college allotted, the category of seats, and the candidate’s category. Candidates whose names are included in the Kerala MBBS seat allotment must report to the allotted college between the given time to take admission.
